What is the best bootable rescue CD?

Hey I've been researching reviews on this topic but haven't found anything promising. I thought the major geeks community would be the best place to ask. So in your opinion or based on your experience what is the best bootable rescue CD? Also if you could can you please let me know if they're free or paid and also what OS's that the rescue CD supports? I'm mainly interested in Windows 7 and 8. Thanks ahead of time.

 

Rescue from what? a malware infection, a bad Windows install?

 

I've not found the 'one', but I do use a few, and a lot of people use / make their own multiboot CDs / DVDs.
A few tools I use:

The Windows repair disks and a PE boot.

Since there is no 'one' that I have found, these cover the gamut of Windows issues.

 

For malware I run Kaspersky rescue disk from a USB stick.

To remove things from windows that windows refuses to delete, I boot up Porteus linux live also on a USB stick.
I also have Trinity rescue kit on CD.
