What software to check mp3 bitrate?

I'm trying to sort through the jumble of archived Mp3 files I have from about 2000-2004. Is there an easy way to check what bitrate they are in?

If not, try GSpot. It reports all types of info for all types of media files. I use it mainly to find out info about video codecs and bitrates, but I'm pretty sure it works for MP3s also.

EDIT- I was just thinking... Audacity and Wavosaur are two top-notch audio editors that should do the job too....

There's a much easier and more convienent way to do this, especially if the files are in folders. In Windows Explorer, in the right pane up where it says NAME > SIZE > TYPE > DATE MODIFIED, right click an empty space at the end of the line and select MORE and then scan down to BITRATE and put a check mark. Now your explorer page will show the bitrate of all mp3 files in that folder. You can slide things around to make room for it if there is none.
