What's wrong with my keyboard ?

So my keyboard is acting weird by weird I mean if I press the A key or something the "file" tab on my browser pops up and if I press "g" to go to google it doesn't work. I've managed to make it work by opening on screen keyboard in windows 7 but when I turn on the computer it goes back to acting weird. I don't think it's a virus. Any ideas? Just in case my explanation is vague to put it simpler terms I suppose if press the "A" button on my keyboard the history tab for some reason comes up.

 

Desktop or laptop?
Qwerty, Dvorak or another keyboard?

alt+F will open the file menu; not sure what you mean by file tab.

Pressing g alone doesn't go to google. Do you have some software for key mapping? If so, what are you using.

 

It's just a usb dell keyboard connected to a desktop nothing special about it and yes that's exactly what I mean sorry if it sounded vague. When I press A my file menu will come up I woke up this morning the keyboard seems to be working like normal and no I don't think I have any software for key mapping.
