Where are the AMD four-core motherboards?

    I can see all these articles on Google about them being launched in 2006, but I don't see where to buy them. Maybe I am searching for the wrong thing?

    Do you mean Dual Socket L (Socket 1207FX)? The only one I found on Newegg was the ASUS L1N64-SLI.

    I'm pretty sure those don't exist. The only quad-core systems I've seen use the Dual Socket L, which only support the Quad Core FX series CPUs (FX 70-74 I think). Eventually it would be nice to able to just plop two regular dual-cores into a motherboard, though, instead of having to buy something specially fabricated for it.

    no, they are only for the fx-7X series which run 2 dual core procs
