I have an idea that if install WAMP on its own partition, it will run better and perhaps not bog down my system speed as it usually does.

    a) Will this help at all?

    b) Should I just do the standard C:wamp installation?

    Thank you, Geeks!

I don't think installing it to another partition would be any benefit, as it would still be accessing the same drive where the OS files live. You could try installing it to a second hard drive that way WAMP isn't sharing access time with the OS on that drive.

Thank you for the good advice.

I think I'll take it. In the meantime, I'm just using the BitNami Wordpress stack. It's so much easier to manage than WAMP, and it hasn't bogged me down a bit.

    Thanks!
