    I'm considering the Palm LifeDrive, HP hx2790 and the Dell Axim 51v. I owned a HP5550 in the past and it was great, I've never tried a Palm.

    My main use is: PIM, Mapping/GPS + Travel, and Academics (schoolwork).

    Besides that... I'm unsure about getting a Palm since I've never used it and I don't know how expensive and available software is... but 4 gigs is nice. Otherwise I'm leaning more towards the HP than the Axim...

    Any advice?
