Why are my icons shifting around?

    Yesterday, I logged out of my Vista admin account. Then when I came back home I logged back in, to find that my desktop icons on the right side of the page had been shifted towards the middle of the screen, as though the resolution changed.

    What would cause this? It's the first time it happened, as far as I know. I did a malware scan (just to be on the safe side) and it's clean.
