why wont the software download

Hi everyone, I tried to download some software, i clicked to save the software and choose my documents to down load to and then it started downloading but then I got a message saying internet explorer cannot download, the connection with the server was reset.
I was trying to download VMware software, i am running windows xp, please can some1 help.

 

Try downloading the software again it could have been an error that occured on your computer or the server you were downloading from.

 

I have tried 4times, the first time it got to 1%, the second time it got to 2%,
the third time it got to 6% and the fourth time it got to 19% before i received the error and then it gave up, It was actually this site i was trying to download from!!!!

 

This software downloads directly from the authors site. Have you tried clicking the link (VMware) on the right to go to the authors site and tried the download from there?

Download the program Mozilla Firefox from the link below. Its another browser that you can use to surf the net. Try downloading the file using it.
