Will formatting my harddrive reset bios updates?

Hi i was just wondering if i reformat my harddrive will this reset my bios updates to the original?

Too reset bios?
If you mean to a previous version, then you would need download the previous version you want to floppy disk, then flash em.
If you make mistake, load the wrong version, power problems, you'll end up with a new paper weight.
If you want to return bios to default settings, in bios is option to do so, or, reset Cmos, either way.

To clarify:

Whats on the hard drive is totally seperate from the BIOS software.
