will seagate hardrive work on hp computers

    hi i was wondering if seagate hardrive will work on hp comp i noticed theres many western mdigital hd cant test because my neighbor needs a power supply first thanks anybody

    You can use any brand of hard drive in a PC, so long as it is the same type of connector (IDE or SATA) and same physical size (2.5" or 3.5" wide) as the original hard drive. If it is an IDE drive, be sure the pins on the back are set properly (usually cable select).
