win 32 programs keep crashing on Win 7

As the title suggests, I have many programs crashing on my Windows Asus K55A laptop. It's very random and rather frustrating. The key element of the crashes is that multiple programs crash after each other (ex: steam crashes, then VLC player, the google chrome,etc). Here is some logs from event viewer:

I haven't really installed too much excess software from the default day one settings. Any help with this issue is appreciated.

 

Since Windows Explorer seems to be the first program that crashes, I went searching and found this

Thank you for your response. I tried the link and it said the "KB2515325" update was already installed.
