win xp wont reactive after repair install

I got a blue screen system shutdown (STOP:21oooooa) error on boot, system restore wouldnt work, giving another blue screen shutdown (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, physical memory dump) so i did a repair installation with the xp cd. Worked fine, until windows was about to start and it automatically popped up with incorrect product key. When i typed my product key # still incorrect. I used key finder and it was the same product key number ive been using. I tried upgrading my windows with the cd and it gave an error "couldnt proceede because all of software not installed". What can i do to get by this activation error? Thanks.

 

Try calling microsoft, should be an option within the activation window........
