win2000 stop error

Hello, ive been having a stop error prob a lot lately so i reformated and
did a fresh install of win 2000 pro. ive tryed many things to correct this error befor the install but they had no effect.

now this hapens randomly and a lot when i try to load games up.

now i realy dont know little to none about this kind of stuff so....

heres what im runing..

win 2000pro streamline sp4
gigabyte k7 triton ser
512 ddr 2700
amd xp 2100+
GF4 128 ti4400 leadtek
doc 5 with 5 fans


cpu temps are fine but vid cards heat sink dose run very hot
and on this modle the hole vid card is one big heat sink

any help and support would be great ..THANKS
