Win32 generic host process error

    I am in desparate need of help!! When ever I reboot, or try to file something I get the following message: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. The computer doesn't shut down, it just takes a while to file stuff or switch files. The data report states the following: error signature: szAppName:svchost.exe szAppVer: 5.1.2600.0 sx ModName:wiaservc.dll szModVer 5.1.2600.1106 offset:0003fbbo. Any help you could give me would be so appreciated.
