Win7 64 Bit BSOD because of Virus

    Hi,
    I am fixing windows 7 64 bit laptop for a friend of mine. that has the fbi money pac virus. I fixed that type of virus before, but never had it get as bad as this. If I boot regularly I can't do anything because I the virus doesn't let you exit the screen.

    I then tried booting into safe mode. Still get the virus popping up so I couldn't do anything.

    I then downloaded hitman pro and created their kickstart usb drive. I booted off the usb and ran hitman pro. It did come back with a lot of malware/viruses.

    I removed them and then restarted the pc. Now I get get a BSOD after that. The error code for the BSOD is 0x0000007b.

    I found a thread on here with similar problems and ran FRST64.exe from system recovery command prompt.

    I'll attach the frst.txt file.

    Download this >> View attachment fixlist.txt


    Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST64.exe on your flash drive.
    Now reboot back into the System Recovery Options as you did previously.
    Run FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
    The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
    Please attach this to your next message. (See how to attach)

    Now boot into normal Windows if possible and continue with the below because there was a lot of junkware on this PC.

    Try it again. Yes the pc boots up now. Thank you again for the help.

    You're welcome. You really should complete the rest of the instructions. Your logs showed a lot of problems and I expect there is more to remove.
