    Hey guys,
My Toshiba Satellite E105 running Windows 7 seems to be having a meltdown. I'm trying to figure out if the array of hardware and software problems I'm having are from a common source, or if everything is going to crap at the same time.
It started with a Windows startup failure about a month ago that ended up being corrupted files/sectors that were eventually fixed with a Windows7 repair disk after many, many attempts.
Computer behaving, then abruptly the battery goes to crap ("consider replacing battery"). I've ordered a new one, not here yet.
Yesterday, while using the computer plugged in, it abruptly turns off. Third time this has happened. But this time, when I turn it back on again, I get another Startup failure.
Fixed it this time with a System Restore point (Startup Repair failed) from my backup HD (from January-ugh). Now windows starts, but all my USB ports and Biometric (fingerscanner) are down, and the clock is stuck in double Daylight Savings. Also, very very very slow.
Been fixing each individual problem, but there's so many at once-- could there be something in common with all these problems???
