Windows 10 Update Disabled Hdmi And Vga Outs

UPDATE: That was stupid. You just have to hit the windows key and p and then extend your screen.



I guess the Windows 10 update went poorly for a lot of us. I removed the bloatware they reinstalled. I'm not sure how to disable Cortana (the Windows 10 search function is really terrible). Are there any third party apps that do this better?
My main concern is that my laptop no longer recognizes my external monitor when attached via HDMI port, nor does it detect my projector when plugged into the VGA port. I'm sure this is an easy drivers fix, but my basic troubleshooting attempts in Device Manager didn't work. Any recommendations?

For removing bundled Windows Apps I don't want, I use IoBit Uninstaller in its section 'Win Manager'. It removes them cleanly.

For the above checking on Driver updates, you can go to the manufacturers' websites for each part > support > downloads, or you can use a reliable Driver Update tool such as Driver Talent (formerly called 'DriveTheLife') which is my preferred tool.
