I recently upgraded to windows 7, and I am wondering what is the best way to prevent it from minimizing things. It irks me to no end when a game gets minimized, or full screen programs get minimized. Is there any way to enact a lock on all minimizing commands? I am an experienced Windows XP user (never touched vista) and I didn't have this issue with XP.

That's a known bug with AVG 9.something = the current version, is that what you use on this PC?

I do indeed use AVG 9. Thank you for the great advice, everything works great now!
