Windows 8.1 instructions.

Is there anywhere to get instructions for windows 8.1 without having to sign up for a microsoft account. I don't want hot mail or outlook express.rolleyes

 

Hotmail is really a easy account. I used it for years. Mostly only with important or trusted sites. Very little spam if you use the account wisely. Create a nickname account with little real inforamtion. They don't ask for any verification. It can be used to get you into several communities worth the effort. Also there is WinVista forums Win7 forums so I would figure there is Win8 forums.

 

You won't get a new hotmail address. Only old addresses are grandfathered. If you sign up with MS today, you will be given an outlook address.

It works the same with a live email address. Old addresses are grandfathered in but new addresses will be outlook.
