    My computer is only 1 yr old and started shutting down for no reason. I have to bring it back and sign in every time and this happens when I leave the computer for 20 min or so. Went in to change time frame to shut down, sleep, etc, and made them all never. Did not work and now when it shuts down and is reopened the date is always 2044!!

    Went to your site and read your Malware removal guide and have followed your instructions and I have attached the logs for you to review.

    I will mention that after running a couple of the tools, I had to reboot, per your instructions and when it came back it stayed on the right date now!! So, something must have worked.

    I would appreciate anything you can tell me to do to make my computer work effectively again. Thanks in advance.

    Rerun RogueKiller and have it fix these items:
    Code:
    ¤¤¤ Registry Entries : 12 ¤¤¤
    [Suspicious.Path] (X64) HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2446831985-3765423242-66693763-1001\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce | 64_11121452011517 : "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\LMIR0001.tmp_r.bat"  -> FOUND
    [Suspicious.Path] (X86) HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-2446831985-3765423242-66693763-1001\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce | 64_11121452011517 : "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\LMIR0001.tmp_r.bat"  -> FOUND

    Then rerun Hitman and have it remove the PUP's.

    Reboot and rescan with both RogueKiller and Hitman and attach those new logs.

    I ran RogueKiller and the items which were there originally did not appear. I continued to Antirootkit, and the items you noted were not there either. I then reran Hitman. After that, I did a reboot w/both RogueKiller and Hitman and I have attached the two logs for you to review.

    My computer continues to go down and I have to press the button and reboot to use it. I did see a couple items which may me interferring, whenever I reboot I get a message re a .dll that cannot be found and when I looked at one of the logs it shows "C:\Program Files\HP\HP\Officejet Pro 8500 A 910\bin\HPStatusBL.dll" as a possible problem. I do not have an 8500 HP, I replaced it with an 8600 HP. How do I remove that .dll?

    Your logs are clean. I suggest you post in the software forum for additional assistance.

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    3. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    4. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    6. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    7. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
