When attempting boot up, the system stalls once the Windows '98 screen is reached. After shutting down and rebooting again, system goes to safe mode saying "Windows did not finish loading". After I boot up in safe mode and then reboot in normal mode, all seems fine. This has happened twice now, yesterday morning and again this am. Any ideas???

Without an error message it makes diagnosing the problem difficult. Since, it is stalling at the Windows 98 Startup screen, it is most likely a system service that is the problem. Start by running basic system maintenance, from 'Safe Mode' run the scans from the 'Read Me First' sticky in the spyware specific forum, then run scandisk, and defrag your harddrive.
