windows activation problem

    I have 2 PC's and unfortunately Windows only allows one activation, so I installed my Windows XP home on the 2nd PC and used a windows activater that my buddy told me to use and it worked. But now it's 2 months later and I can't get on to my desktop. It just says windows needs to be activated, activate now and when I click cancel it restarts the PC and when I click OK it says Windows is already activated and I'm left at my desktop unable to view or do anything. It's a never ending cycle. Please help!

    install linux and you want have to worry about activation
