   hi, my computer froze the other day and now when i try and log on it asks if i want to activate windows (which i do). But the computer just freezes and nothing happens.

   What OS are you dealing with?
   Click Start and look at the top to see if "Activate Windows" is an option. If so,try from there.

   XP....The problem is it just freezes so cant do anything except start up in safe mode
