    hello

I am new to this, but after reading various other threads that seemed very helpful and successful in dealing with similar problems to mine, seeking help here seemed like my best and only option

Basically, here is a summary of problems & attempted solutions to such problems over the last week

It started with my computer crashing while attempting to move a video onto an sd card. After this had happened several files appeared on the sd card that had complete jibberish long titles, which were somehow taking up all the memory, and I could not delete them. An error message came up saying something along the lines of "path file name too long. Invalid syntax"

So I tried downloading DelInvFile to remove them. I didn't have any money at the time (or now really), so, to my great mistake, I tried downloading a crack.
Immediately Windows security alerts started popping up warning me of a trojan, but since these warnings never changed and never stopped, it obviously wasn't solving the problem!

I attempted using Ad-Aware and Spybot search and destroy, but ad-aware would not scan "scanner in use", and spybot just crashed almost immediately after loading

This is when I found these similar threads and followed the details listed here http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407
I followed every step, and downloaded every piece of software suggested. The only one that worked was SUPERantispyware, which found 3 problems, and removed them, but this did not help in an obvious way.

Within a week my computer seems to have deteriorated from a computer that simply annoyed me for having Vista and not XP :(, to one that barely allows me to open firefox

    Programs that did not work:
    ComboFix
    Malwarebytes
Ad-aware (although I think that wasn't on the READ AND RUN ME list anyway)
    Spybot search and destroy
MGtools (this opens a dos prompt but disppears within seconds)
    Norman Malware cleaner

    Other problems:
IE popups appear randomly and I NEVER use IE (I was almost certain I'd uninstalled it)
    Trojan warning : Win32/Renos.jm

Thank you anyone who can help me with this essay like problem!

    Doctor K

Did you try to run RootRepeal? Did you follow the instructions to run MGTools by right clicking it and running it as administrator?
