Windows Defender Offline vs Aurelion = no boot -frst attached.

    Hello geniuses...geni? like octopus/octopi? idk

    Anyway, I realize this post has been made a dozen times, but I just have one quick question regarding it which I have not found. I used windows defender offline to remove Aurelion virus. Windows will not boot. I followed intructions here http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=276008
    My question is; can the posted fixlog.txt be used on all computers with this issue or does the fixlog.txt need to be generated based off each individual frst.txt

    if that is the case, my frst.txt is attached if someone can help me generate my fixlog.txt. I used frst64 and the computer is a Dell Vostro. Thank you very much

    Welcome to Major Geeks!
    Much of the time, fixes are unique. There may be similarties too, but it is safer to only uses fixes that were directly given to you.

    Download this >> View attachment fixlist.txt


    Save fixlist.txt to your flash drive.
    • You should now have both fixlist.txt and FRST64.exe on your flash drive.
    Now reboot back into the System Recovery Options as you did previously.
    Run FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
    The tool will make a log on the flashdrive (Fixlog.txt).
    Please attach this to your next message. (See how to attach)

    Now see if you can boot into normal Windows.
