Windows Explorer Crashes when I click My Documents or My Computer.

I'm Running Xp Media Center. I don't have an install disk as my laptop didn't come with one.
Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

It shows some stuff after that if you need it I can screen cap it it won't let me copy it. Heres the dirctory it says the error log is in I can't find it I copyed it into run and got nothing.

I ran this sfc /scannow in run and and it worked for a bit but after I deleted some files the problem came back. I ran the scan again and it didn't work this time

 

Does it happen in safe mode?

 

Have you ran any anti spy-ware/ad-ware programs or such like?

 

It lets me open it in safe mode I have ran scans of Norton, Advanced windows care v2 professional. As well as system mechanic.They have turned up nothing.

 

Is your computer up to date with Windows? I had the same problems, and once I went to Microsoft's website and did a critical update. It fixed the problem. If I remember correctly, it was a .net problem.

 

I just installed every update that was optional since i had every critical one. Still doesn't work.

 

Bump anyone able to help me this is a bit of a problem. any sort of scan or anything I can run?
