I'm running Vista Business, fully updated. But I keep getting Explorer Not Responding message, followe by a restart of Explorer.

    Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer?
In other words can you use your computer at all or is the problem just with the internet.

    Hi

Did this start after installing any software as generally Windows Explorer crashing is due to a shell extention installed by another un or fully compatible application.

In Device Manager are there any error notes from around the time of the crashes that list the actual faulting application?

Is your Vista fully upto date will ALL udpates and latest Service Pack?

Windows is fully up to date. I reverted back to an old restore point to see if the problem is due to a specific software installation. So far so good, but too early to tell.
