My Hard Disk is playing up. Windows says it detected errors so i did what it said and Restarted the PC. It checked the Disk and said they were fixed. When i ran Windows Check Disk again it says there are errors and to Restart the check again.

Is there any free Software ic an use to Scan and Fix the Drive other than Windows? S.M.A.R.T. is switched on but i don't know how to view its results. Or should i just get a new Drive?

    Ta :)

BTW, the HD103SJ is a SATA drive, not SCSI (but I note that some hardware monitors report anything not EIDE as SCSI.

I recommend you run the Samsung utility suggested above. If Samsung's own utility finds errors and your drive is less than 3 years old, Samsung will have no choice but to replace it under warranty.
