    Hello All,

Not sure if this is a software or hardware issue so if I've posted in the wrong forum please let me know.

    I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit

I noticed my problem occurred when I was on Google Maps Street view looking around. My computer suddenly went to the blue screen and then restarted. Upon restart it went to the black screen saying do you want to start Windows up normally with a countdown clock. I just press enter and I'm up and running again.

This has happened three times and each time I was on Google Maps.

Once I'm logged in again there is a Windows Dialogue box that says, Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown.

This is the information it provides.

    Problem Signature
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48
    Locale ID: 4105

    Additional Information about the Problem:
    BCCode: a
    DCP1: 0000000000000008
    BCP2: 0000000000000002

    BCP4: FFFFF80002E2133E
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 256_1

I'm not sure if this is useful or not but any assistance would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance,

You need to attach your Minidump file which should be in C:\Windows\Minidump\

As Google Earth is pretty heavy on both the display and networking side, I'd hazard a guess that it's graphics or networking drivers but it could be other reasons, or a mix. Try updating your graphics and NIC/Wireless adapter drivers.

Yes, a crash dump (zipped) would be very useful.

    Hello Eldon and Satrow,

I've attached a zip file that contains all three of the Minidump files from my computer. I'm guessing those contain the information from the three times my computer shut down while I was on Google Maps/Street view.

    I hope this is helpful.

    Thanks,

    Hello Eldon,

I'm attaching a Word document with the WhoCrashed information.

I did install a Inateck Superspeed 4 Ports PCI-E to USB 3.0 Expansion Card - Interface USB 3.0 4-Port Express Card Desktop with 15 Pin SATA Power Connector a few weeks back. When I installed it I went to the Inateck website and downloaded the most recent driver i believe.

    As per the crash report:
If you can't locate the correct driver, I suggest you use DriverEasy. It's free - don't click on Register.

FYI This poster had the exact same problem and updating the Realtek driver solved it.

It looks like your RealTek network driver is being interfered with, update it to the latest version for your OS: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#1

I suspect that it's your 2+ year old version of Kaspersky that's doing the interfering, update the version or completely uninstall it, install MSE during testing: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/microsoft_security_essentials_for_windows.html
    http://support.kaspersky.com/common/service.aspx?el=1464

Don't use any 3rd party driver installer, they frequently get things wrong.
