Windows keeps restarting whenever I run an antimalware tool

There was a party here a few days ago and the computer is accessible to everyone. Due to to this, I believe someone probably browsed some sites/downloaded some things that they shouldn't have.

The problem is that, whenever I try to run hijackthis, combofix, smitfraudfix, etc., the computer restarts itself. Even going to google and searching for possible fixes gives me errors, but when I'm browsing other, normal sites, the computer doesn't restart.

I checked the process tree and there seems to be multiple instances of ping.exe in there. Also the desktop has the following programs (hidden by default):

swsc
nircmd
ntrights
vfind
erunt
ntpback
dumphive
ntp
swreg
handle
swxcacls
moveex
restartit

and the following "dos batch files"
qoo
look2me
list-c
purity

and a bunch of LOC files
erunt
erdntwin
erdntdos

I already tried booting into safe mode and running hijackthis/other programs in safemode but it just keeps on restarting. Sorry if this isn't a whole lot to go on, but i can't really run any diagnostic tools or anything without the computer restarting. Any help would be appreciated
