when i try to play an mp3 i get this message.

Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly.

i read some things on it and tried playing wav files, they just dont start and it says something about having a lot of queued files.

videos (wmv i think) wont play sound.

sound works fine on everything else, internet, AIM, everything, its just windows media player. ive looked at the device manager and theres nothing wrong with any hardware.

    help?

    nvm, i fixed it myself.

i disabled my sound device, and then re-enabled it.
dont know why that was necessary though.
