Windows Media Player not playing back well

    My Windows Media Player is now displaying streamed video clips (ie from the BBC website) in a sort of negative image affect, only in bright primary colours.

    I'm on XP, service pack 2, and I reckon it might be something to do with my having had to isntall new drivers for my ATI Radeon video card as Half Life' Steam software asked me to do this. (don't get me started on how crap HL2 is....)

    Any suggestions folks?

    Maybe the point is that you ought to install o reinstall (if you already have) video codecs?
    I always advise K-Lite Codec Pack. http://www.free-codecs.com. Try to do this. :)
