Windows only shows 1 CPU on Q6600 (Quad)?

    just installed xp pro, but when i het Ctrl+ALT+Del in the performance tab it only has 1 cpu, not 4?....on view ----> cpu history it only has the option show 1 graph per cpu....

    how can i fix? in my bios it shows 4 cores @ 2.40GHz :cry

    have the asus p5kc mobo, 4 GB pc6400 ram, raptor

    is the xp sp1? or pre sp1?have you updated windows? also do you have the latest mobo drivers? all these may help. I just dropped my quad in today and did a clean install and voila. Upon googling the problem I found several references to this with asus boards and vista also newest bios 0701 seemed to cure the problem.
