I upgraded my desktop from Windows 7 to 10.
Photos now appear to have a yellow / orange tint when opened with Windows Photo Viewer.
    How do I fix this?

    Thanks.

Have a look on the PC manufacturer's website support pages for a better graphics driver for your model.

No updates available on the website.

    What graphics do you have?

    NVIDIA GeForce 9100

The photos appear yellow / orange only when viewed within the Windows Photo Viewer.
(Of course, this happens to be the viewer that I prefer, lol).

I'm almost sure reading on this site that there is a problem with some NVIDIA graphics and Windows 10.
    Have you tried this site?

The driver is up to date, but no change.

    Photos opened with:

Windows Photo Viewer - yellow / orange tint
    Picasa - normal
    IrfanView - normal
    MajorGeeks Attached Images - normal

Thank you for the link and for your help, I appreciate it!
Unfortunately, the installer said it couldn't continue.

Attached is a screenshot of the installer "cannot continue" message, as well as how the photo appears when opened within Windows Photo Viewer.

I cannot explain why the drivers are not installing.
As for the yellow background, it seems Windows is using the wrong colour profile. Open Control Panel > Color management > Advanced (it might be slightly different in Windows 10). Ensure System default is selected for all.

Also, have a look at the following. Again, it might be slighly different for Windows 10.

Yup, default was already selected for all.

    Solved!
    This tweak did it!
    Thank you very much!
