I got a computer coming in Wednesday that I already know what I have to solve. THe user doesnt know their password. I know there is a way to do it with Linux but I was wondering if anyone else had any experience in this before I start researching. I believe it is a 2000 laptop since with 98 you can just hit cancel. Thanks for any recommendations.

Did it on a 2000 laptop which came off a domain and they forgot the Admin password, worked great! Though, make the password blank (*) because in my experience setting it again doesnt work so well.

Saved my a$$ when my server password got corrupted too!
