    Running a Compaq Proliant 800
    dual p3 600
    512 MB RAM

Attempting a Clean install of Server 2000
After 2000 Setup Process completes and I finally get to the "Push Ctl, Alt, Delete to login" screen. THe Keyboard and Mouse both drop their connectivity. Both Keyboard and Mouse are PS2, not trying to confuse the server by throwing it a USB Curveball here.

If anyone can helpo me with this it would be great.

    Thanks

if not connected to a Keyboard-Video-Mouse switch box then (I know it sounds retarded but) make sure you did plug in the cables to the correct ports....get in the BIOS and see if keyboard is responding...

Need to go to hp, and download compaq smart start disk. The one that matches your server. The important part is that once you start go straight through don't stop or else you may have a similar problem as I am, with an endless loop.

    hope this helps.
