Windows Task Manger

    I'm running windows xp, computer running very slow. I had to use control alt del. to end the program. When task window came up it had three things it was ending, I also noticed that in the lower left corner it had processes 61 is that how many programs are running at the same time or can you explain it to me.     What program where you trying to end that caused the PC to go slow?



    Yes 61 is the processes that are running on your PC, they will be a mix of Windows tasks and software yoru are running like your antivirus, etc
