Windows Update error 0x8007007E - can't get updates

    G'day.
    Trying to get updates for XP SP2 (just installed SP2 - manually - used network version). Using IE7 (also just installed, but I was having teh same trouble before installing when I had IE6.
    I get the msg:

    The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

    Options are to go to FAQ's etc.

    Error Number 0x8007007E shows on teh page also.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there - I did a little research and came to this explaining the error message. I hope this will help you...I am confident that someone with alot more experience and knowledge will lend a hand as well.
