    Hi all,

Have a PC running Windows XP Home Edition that suddenly refuses to maximise windows.

Running at 1024x768 and whenever I maximise a window it goes to full height but refuses to go full width instead preferring to go to something around 768x768.

the background and desktop seemd to be functioning fine, I can move icons into this area on the right that doesnt get occupied by maximised windows but no matter what the app I cant get full screen.

    Any ideas? :eek

Have you tried putting the cursor in the bottom right of the window and dragging it out to full size then seeing if it maximizes properly the next time you open it?
