After a system crash, and re-installation of windows XP (up-to-date), can anyone explain the following differences i have noted, there are probably others:
    1. When I drag and drop it copies the files, and not as previous cut, how do i get it to cut?
    2. When i goto turn off computer, it now gives a window with 3 icons, previously it was a drop down menu with 4 options...not worried about this one!

In my time i have completed several XP installations on my own PC, and had several PCs with windows XP at work, and have noticed both these differences previously!!
