Windows XP "Please Wait..." Screen.

    Everytime I boot up my Laptop it loads Windows quickly, but everytime right before it gets to the welcome screen, I get this blue screen with "Please Wait..." and a ton of dots following it until I'm actually able to get onto my account. This hasn't happen before and the amount of time it's taken is crazy, can someone please help me with this?

    mm sounds like a hardware issue or a bad driver system info please

    so What your says is that you can login and use your computer but its displaying strange dots and screen corruption but the pc is usable correct
    if so when did it start ?
