When I get an email with a web link in the text of the message I use to be able to click on that link to bring up a web page with my default browser. Now it doesn't work. Any thoughts on what happen, and how can it get it working again.

    Try the steps below:

    1. Quit all programs that are running.
    2. Click Start, and click Run.
    3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
    4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):

    Shdocvw.dll
    Msjava.dll
    Actxprxy.dll
    Oleaut32.dll
    Mshtml.dll
    Browseui.dll
    Shell32.dll
< do this one ONLY if you are running Windows 2000 or XP

    5. Restart the computer and try links in OE now.

    OK, try this,

    1. Start Internet Explorer
    2. Select the Tools->Internet Options menu
    3. Select the [Programs] tab
    4. Look for a checkbox labelled "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser"
    5. If this checkbox is not ticked, then this is the cause of the problem, so tick it.
    6. Click OK
    7. Close Internet Explorer
    8. Re-open Internet Explorer
    9. Close Outlook Express
    10. Re-open Outlook Express

Also, Close OE. then open Internet Explorer. Now, click on Tools, Internet options, Programs, Reset Web Settings, Uncheck "reset my home page", and then click YES.

Found this, http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm, This info solved the problem.
I had to delete the open command and then add a new open command with perform this action as listed in the information.

    Thanks for your help
