winload.exe error - vista

    Got the vista winload error, no idea how to fix it, I put a windows xp disk in to install xp, it gets like half way and than the error pops up again.

    I'm not sure if this will work since you tried overwriting your Vista install with XP.
    Booting into a command prompt and type:
    bootrec /fixmbr <enter>
    bootrec /fixboot <enter>
