Winmail/email question

IIRC you have Vista now on your mail PC and I taking a wild stab at WinMail = Windows Mail? if so and the email is stuck in inbox/outbox then try this small free app http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/ and do read the instructions, repair database is likely option you need to take, but if needed important mail is in your Windows Mail, then back it up.

BUT do take note of the note in the red box on the Windows udpate or SP1 for Vista if you have not already installed that service pack.

Backup of Windows Mail is fairly easy now as all you need to do is locate this location and its the main stores for email in Windows Mail so you can backup individual emails or all of them C:\Users\XXXXXX\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail\Local Folders (XXXXXX = your user name ) sadly mail is coded so doesnt come with the title of the email as its file name.

But would like Mark mentioned need more info as in which folder the email stuck in, what security applications do you haev installed and do you have Googles Desktop installed.
