On one computer, my winrar 3.7 corporate edition will not extract some mp3 files in a .rar stating that the file names are too long. I extracted the same file with no problem on my laptop. I can't find any setting in winrar that will keep this from happening on my main computer.

I don't think it is a winrar problem. It is a Windows problem. I'm fairly sure Windows has a 256 character limit on file names. That includes all folders in the path.

So, if on your desktop you are trying to extract the rar to a sub folder that has a longer path than on the laptop that could be the problem. Try putting the rar directly in C:\ and unzipping it there.
