    Hi,

I've got two external HDD's (Fantom & Western Digital) that I'd like to assign permanent drive letters.

I've gone to My Computer> Manage> Computer Management> Disk Management and assigned the letters but they don't stick upon reboot. Is there a way to make Windows see the assigned drives permanently?

Just an FYI: The Fantom has an off switch and WD does not, so I want to shut the Fantom off when I don't need it and just use it to back up the WD.

I'd like to assign the Fantom to F:\ and the Western Digital to W:\ so I'll always know which is which.

    WinXP SP3

    Thanks for the help!
