Have a PC from a business. It has hidden passwords, controls, access to C: denied, etc.
Want to clean everything off and reload operating system(XP Pro).
What is the best way to do this

    Greetings, iflyrc...

Set your boot order to 'CD first', and boot to the XP disk...you'll be presented with options to delete/recreate the partition(s) (which I recommend), and to full format as NTFS (which I also recommend) - you should then have a pristine drive on which to install Windows...make sure you catch up with any hardware drivers and Windows service packs and updates after you install...

Good luck, and keep us posted...
