    Hi,
I am using Sygate firewall and it seems that there is some conflict with my Linksys Wireless adapter on my XPhome. If I uninstalled Sygate and use Comodo or Kerio firewalls I have no problems connecting to the internet. But with Sygate Firewall installed my adapter is forever trying to acquire an IP address. What is the problem? Thanks.

It appears that the Sygate firewall is blocking your DHCP requests or responses. It is also possible that it is just not working. Try putting in the IP information manually to find out if it is blocking DHCP traffic or if it is just not working at all. This way you know if it is a configuration or installation issue.
