I have a Linksys wireless network and I secured it with WPA. I could not access any shared files on other computers on the network while secured with WEP or WPA so I disabled the Firewall and I was able to access shared resources again. I really do need to have the firewall on at all times. Is there any way to do this?

    Please Help.

What kind of fire wall are you using? Anyone here will tell you that your problem is more than likely a configuration issue. Without knowing your firewall I cannot tell you exactly what to do but you must have a workgroup of some sort with a subnet. Most firewalls can be configured to allow all the IP's in your network to access each other. If you are using Windows Firewall may I suggest you shut that one off and never use it again. There are a few firewalls that are free out there that are far better. Also, if you opt to continue to use WPA that is good, better than WEP. I have seen other Geeks here give great links to sites that step you through setting up your Wireless network that are fantastic. Guys..........................
