wireless router WEP help! doesn't work

hi everyone

i have a wireless router it's a Dl-524 i bought a DWL-G650 adapter for my laptop.

i have 1 pc and 1 laptop

i logged into my router website using my computer and i create a WEP than i clicked apply than it restarted the wireless router my computer is connected but my laptop got disconnected. on the laptop it asked me for a WEP key so i typed it in it worked i am connected but than i decide to change the WEP key and create a new one. when i got back on my laptop type in the new WEP it doesn't connect.

it worked the first time when i type it in but not the second time when a change the WEP key to new one i made sure i typed everything right like 5 or 6 time

why doesn't it work

 

LOL i don't know how to edit my posts so i have qoute i have 1 more thing to say i have restart my wireless router for my laptop to connect again

 

can someone help me
